We’ve all found ourselves in a position of sheer admiration for someone’s Valorant crosshair design and appearance.

Whether it’s an in-game teammate or a popular pro player you like watching, chances are that you've been impressed by their crosshair's precision and visual appeal.

Luckily, there is a way to easily replicate these crosshair settings in your own client by copy-pasting the specific crosshair code they’re using.

How to copy a crosshair in Valorant while spectating

If you want to copy the crosshair of a player you’re actively spectating in-game, follow these simple steps:

Copy the crosshair

  • Actively spectate the teammate whose crosshair you like and want to copy
  • Open the in-game chat to type the copy command
  • Type the command /crosshair copy which copies the crosshair code to your clipboard

How to fix Valorant crosshair code not working?

Insufficient slots

The most common reason you’re unable to import a crosshair code to your accounts is that you’ve used up all of your crosshair slots.

By default, there are 15 Valorant crosshair slots, which means that you can store up to 15 crosshairs at once on a single account.

Before importing a Valorant crosshair code, make sure that you have empty slots that you can use to store your new crosshair setting.

Space breaks

Valorant’s code interpreter is very sensitive in terms of the code it’s willing to accept which is why you must be very precise when inputting it.

A common fix is to double-check whether your code ends with a number or symbol without any trailing spaces at the end.

This is because the parser interprets any additional characters (including spaces) as part of the code, which can lead to errors when trying to import the settings.

Code splits

When attempting to copy-paste your code from certain websites, you might encounter a format that splits the code incorrectly.

Much like space breaks, line breaks also cause the code to break and malfunction, preventing the game from recognizing and properly importing the code settings.

What are Valorant crosshair codes

Introduced in July 2022, Valorant crosshair codes are unique strings that represent specific crosshair configuration settings.

These codes encode all of the crucial crosshair settings such as color, size, shape, outlines, and other customization options.

Valorant crosshair codes can be easily imported to your client and exported if you want to share them with other players. This design makes them a very efficient tool that promotes community interaction and learning.

Advantages of using Valorant crosshair codes

Streamlines the crosshair-building process

Before the Valorant crosshair codes were initially introduced into the game, players needed to manually adjust each crosshair setting.

This was an extremely lengthy process as you had to manually tweak each setting which could potentially lead to configuration errors as well.

Luckily, crosshair codes significantly simplify this setup because of the pre-configured code that saves time and ensures accuracy.

Access to pro players and streamers’ setups

Playing like the best players means re-creating their in-game settings, which is significantly streamlined with the introduction of Valorant crosshair codes.

This system allows you to easily replicate the settings of professional players and popular streamers by simply copy-pasting the code.

This provides players of all calibers with a unique opportunity to use crosshairs that have been tested and refined by the experts of the game.

Encourages testing and experimentation

Since crosshair codes significantly simplify the process of crosshair design and implementation, they naturally promote more frequent testing and experimentation.

The ease of importing and switching between different crosshair configurations allows players to explore various styles and settings, which in return results in an increased skill ceiling overall.

Consistency across multiple devices or accounts

One of the best features of Valorant crosshair codes is the fact that they can be easily shared among players.

You can use this concept to your advantage if you’re someone who often switches between accounts or devices.

By importing the same crosshair code across all of your devices and accounts, you ensure that your crosshair settings are always consistent regardless of your surroundings.
