eSports teams are doing their best to prove their worth and that they have what it takes to participate in big tournaments. The more skilled a team is, the better its performance will be and the more money it will win.

League of Legends teams that you see on eSports betting sites are always climbing the money ladder. It’s not hard to notice that some teams earn way more than others, though, and over the years, some LoL teams managed to stay at the top.

This post will explore the 10 highest-earning teams in League of Legends but also give you some information about the most anticipated event of fall 2025.

Top 10 Highest-Earning Teams in LoL

While many teams do their best to make it to the top of the rankings in LoL, only some of them are lucky enough to get worldwide recognition, win tournaments, and earn.

Here are 10 teams that enjoy top earnings at the moment.

T1

T1 has been around for a long time. This group was lucky thanks to Faker, but also the strategies they came up with, which allowed them to get back-to-back wins in 2023 and 2024.

For example, in 2024, Faker’s performance got him the Finals MVP title.

T1 got its first title in 2013, and it’s been getting various wins ever since. It has participated in over 500 tournaments and received total earnings of $15,742,415.21.

Samsung

Samsung is one of the teams with the best players in the scene. The organization had two of the most praised rosters, respectively Samsung Blue and Samsung White. The latter was considered the most dominant team in LoL.

In 2014, they won the World Championship, only losing 2 games in the whole event. Their total winnings reached $5,334,245.29.

G2 Esports

G2 will go down in history as one of the best teams in LoL. Although they were already feared opponents for a while, 2019 was the year when they proved what they’re made of.

Their MSI victory, in which they beat Team Liquid, was followed by a Worlds final run. At the time, the roster included top-notch players with bold, flexible game styles. G2’s overall earnings are $18,858,347.17.

EDward Gaming

EDward Gaming is another team with remarkable wins. The group has been in the lead in China for a long time. All they needed was international recognition.

In 2021, they had one of the most impressive underdog runs in the history of the World Championship. They beat DAMWON Gaming in the final, something that many didn’t see coming. So far, the group has $8,885,492.83 in winnings.

Gen.G

Gen.G Esports achieved a few great things. Not only did they take down SKT, but they were also the very first team in the LCK to win 4 consecutive domestic titles.

So far, the team has $12,110,782.94 in earnings.

Invictus Gaming

It’s hard to imagine the LoL eSports scene without Invictus Gaming. In 2018, they made history by winning the World Championship and showing impressive aggression in the games.

Players Rookie and TheShy were two of the shining gems of the group. In the finals, they beat Fnatic by 3-0. Currently, Invictus has $15,251,360.43 in earnings.

Royal Never Give Up

Although the group has been in fewer than 200 tournaments, it managed to earn quite a lot of money, especially compared to some teams that have participated in more events.

RNG dominated the Mid-Season Invitational and won 3 MSI titles. RNG has won $8,725,225.71 so far.

Fnatic

Fnatic’s journey wasn’t always good. They’ve faced obstacles and failures, but they always managed to stay at the top through their performances and comebacks.

The group is especially known for its rivalry with G2 Esports. In fact, this rivalry has brought some of the most intense moments in LEC history. What set Fnatic up as one of the best LoL teams was their win at the Season 1 World Championship in 2011. The team has earned $22,315,366.42 so far.

Cloud9

Cloud9 has been a consistent team in LoL events. The group has been one of the most reliable international representatives in North America. What made it so popular was its ability to break through the knockout stages in the World Championship.

Cloud9 showed everyone why opponents must take them seriously. They got $14,466,601.28 in earnings til this day.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid won four consecutive LCS titles between 2018 and 2019, and it has consistently held its spot among the top teams for many years.

Team Liquid has also had a few failures, but they have worked hard to learn from them and get better. The group’s earnings, which are $56,271,303.44, are proof of hard work and dedication.

What to Watch in Fall 2025

As Fall 2025 approaches, fans and bettors have the opportunity to watch several LoL tournaments.

The main one that everyone awaits is the League of Legends World Championship 2025. This event includes 17 teams from all regions. The final will take place at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu, China.

The prize is $5,000,000, and it will be spread among the winners. Fans who want to keep an eye on the event will be able to do so starting from October 14, 2025. The tournament will conclude on November 9, 2025.

With so many great teams, there is a lot to watch when it comes to big LoL events. Team Liquid, G2 Esports, and Cloud9 are only some of the groups that have enjoyed high earnings in the last few years.

Although the rankings change all the time, the top 10 have been going strong and keeping their spots. Will the next few years change things for the best teams on the scene? We can only wait and see how things will unfold in the upcoming tournaments.
