Best Valorant Agents on Lotus Map
In Valorant, the strategic depth of every map is complemented by a diverse set of Agents that you can play.
Naturally, every one of these Agents has a different approach to victory, adapting their unique abilities and playstyles to the map's layout.
However, some Agents’ kits are simply better prepared to take on the challenges these maps present, and Lotus is no different, favoring a unique set of Agents for every Valorant class.
Best Lotus Duelists Valorant
Raze
Much like any other map Raze excels on, she is able to dominate Lotus because of her explosive abilities. They’re especially effective at flushing out tight spaces like A link while dealing significant amounts of damage.
Overall, Raze has a unique approach to creating space on any map, which is simply blasting anything she comes across which is a very efficient strategy.
Her Paint Shells grenades are very effective in Lotus’ small rooms and tight spaces where they either force opponents to reposition or risk taking lethal damage.
With all that in mind, the real highlight of her kit is her massive bazooka. Her ultimate ability, Showstopper, delivers a powerful rocket blast that can obliterate multiple enemies in a single shot.
Neon
Unlike Raze who dominates the map by physically obliterating anything she comes across, Neon uses a more refined approach to outplaying opponents.
Rather than relying on brute strength, Neon utilizes her mobility to overcome adversaries and emerge victorious in combat on a tight-knit map like Lotus.
Overdrive and High Gear both allow Neon to swiftly move around the battlefield and engage in combat on her own terms.
Apart from mobility, Neon packs a punch in terms of damage as well. Most notably her Relay Bolt spell which is extremely effective in Lotus’ closed spaces where it can easily bounce off walls and interrupt enemies by concussing them.
Best Lotus Initiators Valorant
Breach
Given that all of Breach’s abilities excel in tight spaces where he’s able to hit multiple opponents at once, it comes as no surprise that he excels on a map like Lotus.
By using his kinetic blasts in rooms and tight corridors, he can set his team up for success by continuously dazing the enemies.
His ultimate Rolling Thunder is particularly effective in this regard as it doesn’t require such a long wind-up as his Fault Line or Aftershock while also covering a larger surface.
He packs even more utility than that though, because of his Flashpoint. This ability releases a charge that blinds enemies through walls, which is extremely effective on a map like Lotus that favors swift skirmishes.
Skye
Skye is a unique Initiator with a very versatile kit that can adapt to almost any in-game scenario, which is why she excels in a dynamic setting like the one presented on Lotus.
She has plenty of utility at her disposal, most notably reconnaissance-based given that two of her abilities can spot enemies and reveal their locations.
That’s not where the utility ends though, as Skye is one of the very few privileged Agents in the game who can heal her allies with the usage of her Regrowth.
However, she’s not all bark and no bite, as her Trailblazer allows her to transform into a menacing tiger that leaps and damages any opponents it comes across.
Best Lotus Controllers Valorant
Harbor
Ever since Lotus initially came out, Harbor has always remained one of the most consistently drafted Agents on the map.
The main reason is that this Controller’s kit is versatile enough to offer a solid amount of disruption as well as plenty of utility.
His main form of disruption lies in his powerful ultimate that summons geyser strikes while his utility resides in his walls and water waves.
Another useful piece of his utility lies in his Cove ability which provides him and his allies with an indestructible shield. This ability can potentially be very clutch, acting as an invaluable resource in planting or defusing situations as it lasts for a very long time.
Omen
On a map like Lotus that features constant fighting in tight spaces, Omen is a menacing Controller due to his kit that allows for plenty of outplay potential.
His Shrouded Step and From the Shadows abilities allow Omen to swiftly reposition himself and surprise the enemy team with flanks.
Although he’s primarily an offensive Controller, Omen doesn’t lack any utility in his kit and he’s more than capable of setting his team up for success.
His primary source of utility lies in his smokes as well as his blinding projectile which is very efficient on Lotus as it can pass through walls.
Best Lotus Sentinels Valorant
Clove
On a map that features so many skirmishes, an Agent like Clove easily stands out among the rest of the available Sentinels.
Clove is a unique Agent in many regards, most notably because of the fact that they defy the norms of the Sentinel class by adopting a very aggressive playstyle that pays off on Lotus.
The main tool in their kit that fosters this playstyle is their ultimate, Not Dead Yet. Much like the name suggests, Clove won’t die that easily while this ability is available, as they can be resurrected after initially dying.
This allows Clove to make risky engages and spearhead the combat, opening up space for their teammates in the process.
Killjoy
It comes as no surprise that Killjoy makes this list because of her ability to hold down sites and control areas of the map.
Lotus is no different, as it’s a map that consists of several closed rooms and tight areas where her gadgets shine through.
That being said, unlike on other maps where Killjoy is often solely drafted because of her turrets and bots, Lotus is specifically favorable for the usage of her ultimate.
This is because Killjoy can hide her ultimate in several spots that are difficult to reach for her opponents, allowing the ultimate to fully charge.
Once fully charged, Lockdown almost instantly wins any fight as it completely detains all enemies caught in a wide area.
